Dr. Hansa Kinkini Dev Roy
Founder-Director & Head of Academics
Dr. Hansa Kinkini Dev Roy is the founder and head of academics at the IOPSR India.
Dr Dev Roy is a Developmental Psychologist and Professor of Psychology with extensive years of experience in developmental and clinical psychology. She is presently heading the department of psychology at the IOPSR apart from The Bodhi Centre (a psychological counseling unit). Alongside she teaches psychology at the Southern New Hampshire University, USA and Behavioral Economics at James Lind Institute, Geneva, Switzerland.
She was associated with multiple national and international schools and Institutes of repute throughout Kolkata. Her special interest lies in the Clinical applications of psychology, Psychotherapy in addition to research and teaching. Moreover, she has published research in prestigious journals reflecting a robust track record of contributions to the field of psychology, underscoring her dedication to excellence and innovation in this vital discipline.
Dr. Jayatri Chakraborty
Advisor & Teaching Associate
Dr.Jayatri Chakraborty is an accomplished academician and Head of Department of Education in Serampore College, University of Calcutta who had been teaching for the past 16 years. She is attached as an advisor and Teaching Associate in Psychology with IOPSR India. Her research was on adolescent stress, achievement motivation and family relation structure, particularly harping on the higher secondary stage.
Akansha Bhattacharjee
Teaching Associate & Psychotherapist
Akansha Bhattacharjee is an academician and has been a gold medallist in psychology. Ms Bhattacharjee has been working with IOPSR India in the capacity of a Teaching associate in Psychology. She is an independent practitioner of counseling and psychotherapy, play, art and family /couple therapy as a healing modality along with her interest in spiritual arts as she hopes to combine the different modalities in the future.
Anushka Kapuria
Academic Coordinator
Anushka Kapuria is the Academic Coordinator at the IOPSR India, where she plays a key role in managing academic operations and supporting student development. She also manages the institute’s social media presence, helping to expand its digital outreach and engagement. Currently pursuing her studies in Psychology at Sister Nivedita University, Anushka is an aspiring psychologist and a certified graphologist. With her combined interests in psychology, graphology, and digital communication, she brings a well-rounded and thoughtful perspective to her work in the mental health field.
Kasturi Das
Teaching Associate & Special Educator
Kasturi Das holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a B.Ed in Special Education, working with IOPSR India in the capacity of Teaching Associate in Psychology. She has completed specialized courses with the Indian Psychoanalytical Society, nurturing a deep interest in Psychodynamic Psychology. Currently, she is associated with one of the reputed CISCE schools in Kolkata as a Psychological Counsellor and Special Educator, where she supports students with emotional, behavioral, and learning difficulties through individualized interventions and systemic support.
